To the Iroquois Nation the turtle represents North America. The turtle form was used as a design inspiration for this 80,000 SF multi-purpose creative and performing arts center and museum. "The Turtle" is situated holding its head in a raised and respectful manner acknowledging Niagara Falls as a special and sacred place.
